honor of your loved one.
We will send the person of your choice a holiday card detailing
your donation. Stop by the Gift Shop to choose from the ornaments
on our Giving Tree or make your donation online.

Adopt-An-Animal
Donations fund food, cages, veterinary services, and general
care for our teaching animals.

Adopt-A-Pond
Home to many different birds, fish, and plants,
donations fund the $100,000 needed to complete critical pond
dredging and maintenance.

Adopt-A-Preschool
Our nature-based preschool "Wish List"
includes picnic tables, a classroom table, large guinea pig
cage and digital cameras.

Adopt-A-LINKS
This award-winning program brings Fairfield County
urban and Student: suburban students together through a series
of environmental education programs designed to teach diversity
as well.

Adopt-A-Tree
Donations will help acquire necessary tools to
keep our trees and grounds healthy, including an orchard ladder,
pruning saws, and loppers.

Adopt-A-Trail
Donations will help us complete a signage installation
that will dot our two-mile trail crisscrossing Nature Center
grounds.

Adopt-A-Greenhouse
Housing many exotic species of plants, the Greenhouse
also serves as a
class room for many Nature Center horticulture programs.

New Canaan Nature Center is an environmental education
center and sanctuary dedicated to helping people of all ages better
understand, appreciate and care for the world of nature. Our vision
is to be recognized as a leader in environmental education while distinguished
for innovative programming, stewardship of natural resources and service
to the community. New Canaan Nature Center is
a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible
to the extent of the law.
