Gain the basic skills and knowledge needed for successful cultivation of perennials in a variety of garden settings. Topics include site selection, soil preparation, tools and planting techniques, maintenance practices, plant selection, landscape use, and design basics. Please bring lunch. |

| Vinyasa Yoga Class |

Classes are taught in the Sturgess Room by a Pryority Fitness instructor. Vinyasa Yoga is a practice that links one’s breath and movement. It tries to achieve balance between one’s body and mind as well as freeing spiritual elements. Benefits of yoga include a complete feeling of relaxation, muscle toning, and improved muscle flexibility and strength. Yoga is the perfect mind, body, spirit exercise. |

| Spring Birding Kick-Off |

| 7:00am - 9:30am |
Kick-off the spring birding season at the New Canaan Nature Center with regional expert Luke Tiller. The morning will begin with a bird identification walk (and birding by ear) through the trails and be followed by a presentation natural bird history of our region. Coffee will be served. |
