NEW for 2008: Online Registration is Now Open!

Online registration will open on Tuesday February 26, 2008 for SNP, EcoRangers, and Adventurers Camps. An online registration station will also be available in the NCNC Visitors Center beginning Tuesday, February 26.

Registration will also be available by phone beginning Monday, March 3, 2008 at 9:30 a.m.

Parents are encouraged to attend one of the monthly Camp Open Houses. Camp directors will be on hand to answer questions and provide additional information about the camp season. Each open house will be held in the Visitors Center. > Click here to see the schedule.

When a camp session is full, a waiting list will be employed. Discoverers may register or be placed on a waiting list for each session, but not both (for example, if you are registered in the afternoon session, you cannot be wait-listed for the morning class during that same session). Explorers and Trackers may register and/or be wait-listed for both morning and afternoon sessions.

If your child wishes to be in the same camp group with ONE special friend, both parties must request the same one-to-one pairing on their Camper Information forms, which you will receive when you register.

Signing up two children at the same time does not ensure they will be in the same group! Requests for special friends will only be honored in written form as described above or through online registration - verbal requests can not be recorded.

Cancellation Policy

We hope that your child will enjoy more than one camp session with us this summer! However, please be aware that our cancellation policy is in effect. Registrations canceled before May 31 will be charged a 25% administrative fee and the remaining 75% tuition will only be refunded if another child fills the vacancy. Refunds made after the beginning of camp will not be refunded within 30 days of the session start date. Cancellations made more than 30 calendar days from the start date of the session will be charged a 25% administrative fee and the remaining 75% tuition will only be refunded if another child fills the vacancy. Refunds will not be given for cancellations made within 30 days of the session start date.

Scholarships

The New Canaan Nature Center strives to serve everyone in our community, regardless of financial circumstances. A limited number of scholarships are available based on need. To apply, please contact the NCNC at (203) 966-9577. Applications are due before March 31, 2008. 2007 Federal Income Tax Returns are required. All applications are confidential.
