Registration Information

Please call for an appointment to visit our school at any time after October 1st. The registration process begins in January for the following school year. Registration is now being accepted for the 2008-2009 school year.

At the annual Open House we provide detailed information about the program, and parents are able to meet our program director, Priscilla Woyke, and the preschool staff. Parents can become further acquainted with the physical setting of the program, visit the classrooms, and ask questions pertaining to our curriculum goals.

Applications

Applications for any available openings in the current school year will be reviewed when submitted. As families do move away from time to time, we encourage interested parents to contact the Nature Center to inquire about openings

Applications for the following year are available at our Open House in January, and afterwards at the Nature Center. Applications for the 2008-2009 school year may be submitted on or after January 7, 2008 and must be accompanied by the registration fee and a copy of your child’s birth certificate. If you submit your application by January 31, you will be notified as to acceptance or wait list status before mid-February.

We give priority placement to current students and siblings of former BNP students until the annual Open House date. The director should be notified prior to that date if a current student will not be continuing with the school the following fall.

All children entering the Discoverers or the Trail Blazers program must be three by December 31st of the year they enter the program. Likewise, all Explorers must be four by December 31st of the year they enter. All children must be toilet trained.

January 3, 2008: Applications available for returning students and siblings of former BNP students.

January 7, 2008: Open House for new prospective families; applications available.

January 18, 2008: Returning students and sibling applications due.

January 25, 2008: All completed applications are due.

February 1, 2008: All parents will be notified on or before this date.

February 8, 2008: Final decision for placement must be made by families. After this date, we will begin accepting families from our wait list.
